New Work: Tribal Series (Part 1)

Hey everyone! Check out some of my recent "tribal themed" work. In both shoots the AMAZING custom neckpieces were sponsored by my buddies over at LMR Collective.

For the first model, Lydia, I wanted to play with different textures and pops of color. On her eyelids I used a charcoal shadow but used a "wet technique" to give it that sleek and polished look. I added feather lashes on the top and bundled individual lashes to the bottom row. I finished off this look with a beautiful vibrant orange lip color and a little clear gloss.

Behind the Scenes: Beauty Shoot with Photographer Angelo Byrd

Greeting everyone!

This will be a short and sweet post. I recently worked with the amazing photographer Angelo Byrd and model Kirstie. I definitely wanted to emphasize Kirstie's gorgeous eyes for her look. I filled in the brows with a dark brown pencil, roughly, to give it a very natural feel. After applying a little base to the eyelid, I used a matte brown eyeshadow all over the lid and blended it from the inner corner of the eye up to the inner brow bone.

Lots of powder shimmer was used to highlight Kirstie's flawless complexion. I only used bronzer on her cheeks. Lastly a baby pink lipstick was used to add a pop of color. Perfect for summer!

And of course I have my behind the scenes shots from my phone:

Enjoy!
