Vintage Glam Shoot

I had the pleasure of working with Photographer Shenique Green on a vintage glam themed shoot. For the makeup I went with a dark romantic look that really went well with the elegance of the wardrobe.

Here's the breakdown:

Eyes: On Pascale I used a charcoal gray shimmer eye shadow all over the lid and defined the crease with a deeply pigmented black eyeshadow. I also used a chestnut brown eyeshadow to help blend the colors into the crease. I used a champagne colored pigment on the brow bone to give a beautiful highlight.

Lips: The lips were simple. I used a black liquid lip color...no gloss. I also used concealer around the outside of the lips to create a sharper lip line.

Face: I love working with cream foundations. I used a cream foundation stick on both models that gave a really nice dewy finish. I contoured the face with darker and lighter shades of cream foundation as well. A burgundy powder blush was used on the apples of the cheeks and blended back into the cheek bones.

On Gracie, I first covered the eyelid with a nude base and applied a very soft pink loose pigment on top. I added glitter cream on top of the pink pigment and defined the crease with a charcoal colored eyeshadow.

In my free time...

Playing around with some colors for an upcoming shoot. That is all.
