Behind the Scenes: Ashley Beauty Shoot

Another shoot I worked on just last month. Ashley, the model, is such a chameleon! I'm convinced should could pull off any look. Sweet face without the makeup but can effortlessly transform into edgy chic.

For this shoot I wanted BOLD, but not so bold that it would take away from Ashley's gorgeous greenish gray eyes and natural beauty. So I started by sharply filling in Ashley's brows with a dark brown powder. I defined the eye by sweeping a light flesh color shadow all over the lid, applied a matte black eyeshadow to the outer corners of the eyes and then lightly blended the color diagonally towards the brow bone. I finished the eye with a black liquid liner. On her cheeks I used a peach toned powder blush and swept bronzer through the hollows of her cheeks and across the forehead. The look was completed with a bright yellow lip color and clear gloss.
